Understanding your concern

What causes hair thinning?

Hair loss has many causes, including genetics, hormones, stress, nutrition, illness and scalp health. Different causes need different treatments, so diagnosis comes first.

At your consultation, Nikita examines your scalp and follicles with a trichoscope, a specialist magnifying camera that shows hair density, miniaturising hairs and scalp condition. This helps identify the type of hair loss and track your progress over time. If we suspect an underlying medical cause, we may suggest blood tests with your GP.

Trichoscope hair analysis

See inside your scalp

Every hair consultation includes a trichoscope assessment. The magnified view of your scalp and follicles shows hair density, miniaturising hairs and scalp health, so your plan treats the cause and your progress can be measured.

FAQs

Your questions, answered

Can't see your question? Read all FAQs or get in touch.

What is a trichoscope?

A specialist magnifying camera used to examine the scalp and hair follicles. It helps assess hair density, miniaturisation and scalp health so your treatment is based on what's happening at the follicle.

Can thinning hair grow back?

If follicles are still active, regenerative treatments can often improve density and reduce shedding. Trichoscopy helps us assess this.

Is treatment suitable for women?

Yes. We treat women and men, including thinning after pregnancy, stress or hormonal change.

When will I see results?

Many clients notice less shedding within weeks, with visible new growth typically after two to three months.
