Why does acne leave scars?
When deep inflammation damages the skin, it heals with too little or too much collagen, leaving pitted (atrophic) or raised scars. Enlarged pores and rough texture often come alongside.
Collagen-stimulating treatments, usually as a course, help remodel scarred skin for a smoother surface. Results are gradual, and we'll be honest about what's achievable.

Can acne scars be removed completely?
Most scars can be significantly improved, but complete removal isn't always possible. We'll set realistic expectations at your consultation.
How many sessions will I need?
Usually a course of three to six microneedling sessions, four to six weeks apart, sometimes combined with PRP or peels.
Is there downtime?
Expect redness for one to three days after microneedling.
Do I need to wait until my acne has cleared?
Active breakouts should be treated first. We'll plan your treatment in the right order.
